Shortest Marriages In Country Music History
June 17, 2024 8:45 amIf you haven’t heard, the undying romance between Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose is dead after 7 months.
Not exactly what you’d call a success, but it could be worse.
Here are the shortest marriages in country music history…
1. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth lasted 239 days. Generally, when you’re counting how long a relationship lasted in days instead of years, it didn’t go so well. But at least they made it 15 days longer than Billy Ray and Firerose.
2. Gary Allan and Danette Day lasted 190 days. She was his second wife. He is currently engaged to his fourth wife.
3. In 2005, Kenny Chesney and Renee Zellweger made it a total of 128 days. They both said they were not prepared for marriage. (Did anyone else forget this happened?)
4. Zac Brown and Kelly Yazdi lasted less than 120 days. No one knows for sure, but they got married on August 31st of last year and were already divorcing by the end of the year.
5. Tammy Wynette and Michael Tomlin lasted a mere 40 days. This was Tammy’s 4th marriage. Her 5th marriage would be to the organ player who performed at her 4th wedding ceremony. (Taste of Country)
