Jelly Roll Performs For Stars In The Hamptons
August 20, 2024 8:45 amJelly Roll played an intimate show at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York on Saturday, August 17.
Jelly played a series of songs from his back catalogue, as well as choice covers of classic hits for the star-studded event filled with VIP guests.
The music star was introduced by the co-hosts of the SmartLess podcast, Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes, who also did a live taping of an upcoming episode with Howard Stern at the venue before the concert.
Stern and his wife Beth were just some of the stars in the audience, along with Bradley Cooper, Jimmy Fallon and his wife Nancy, Jon Hamm and his wife Anna Osceola, John McEnroe, Kelly Bensimon, and Rosanna Scotto.
Jelly joked during his set, before getting serious later about the power of music
“I can’t believe my fat white ass is in the Hamptons! I make real music for real people with real problems… I believe music can heal people.”
In other Jelly news, he was on the Howard Stern Show a while back and they started talking about the song “The Rose” by Bette Midler.
It brought up some painful memories for him.
