Justin Moore Considering A Cookbook

One of Justin Moore’s favourite hobbies is cooking.

He loves to try new recipes and often watches the Food Network for inspiration.

However, Justin has struggled to duplicate some of his favourite family recipes.

“Fried squash, like fresh squash. Southern thing, but I don’t know how she does it. It’s like soft, but crunchy, but it’s just right. And I can’t do it. I’ve tried it, and I’m, you know, overall I’m probably a better cook than she is, but I just can’t do that. So that one, and I make really good fried potatoes, but my grandmother, God rest, her soul, I don’t know how she did it. I finally figured her gravy out, but the potatoes like, Kate’ll go, ‘These are good but they ain’t your nannies.’ I’m like, I know! I know! I don’t know what the deal is. I don’t know if it was a certain skillet or… It was her is what it was.”

But would Justin ever consider putting all those recipes in a cookbook?

“You know, that’s a good idea. Do people still buy cookbooks, now that the internet is a thing? Do they? I would certainly be up for it. I’ve not ever thought about it, but I think it would be somethin’ that would be fun to do.”
