The British Version Of “Chattahoochee”
October 6, 2025 10:00 amYou need to stop everything you’re doing and listen to Alan Jackson’s classic hit “Chattahoochee” but with a British accent.
It’s from a comedian named Michael Rhys, and he has a lot of funny videos online, but this one might take the cake.
He swaps out a bunch of lyrics for British references.
Specifically, how much he likes beans. One of the best lines was, “Yeehaw mate, innit right?”
Even Alan once joked that people outside the South probably have no idea what the real “Chattahoochee” means . . . but I bet he never imagined it being sung with a British accent.
