Blake Shelton Said Gwen Stefani Had A Very California Reaction To Country Living

Blake Shelton shared what it was like the first time he brought his wife, Gwen Stefani, home to Oklahoma.

He said it was, quote, “one of the joys of my life.”

Blake explained that Gwen had never really experienced rural life before.  When they arrived, she was completely taken aback.  She said, “So this is your, like . . . you own this?”  When he told her yes, she couldn’t believe it.

Then Gwen asked, “But I didn’t know you could have a creek or a river.  You can have that?”

She later said she only thought something like that would be in a national or state park.  Gwen was raised in Anaheim, California.  So, all that open space must have been a real shock to her.
