Jelly Roll Says His Weight Loss Helped Him See In Color Again

He said that for over twenty years, he was colorblind.
“I [could] see shades of colors. General concepts. I never realized there was nuances and prettiness.”
He said that after losing all this weight and cutting out sugar, something changed.
The moment it hit him is when he spotted a “new” plant outside his home. Jelly said, “Dude how long have we had that pretty purple tulip there?” And his wife laughed and told him it had been there for two years.
According to the National Eye Institute, color blindness that’s inherited does not go away. But if the color blindness is caused by health issues, and you get better, your vision can improve.
