Dolly Parton Can’t Attend Her 80th Birthday Party At The Opry

Dolly Parton turns 80 on January 19th.  And the Grand Ole Opry is honouring her with a special show called “Opry Goes Dolly” on January 17th.

But unfortunately, Dolly can’t be in attendance. 

“I just wanted to say how much it means to me that you’re all coming together again this year to celebrate my big ol’ birthday.  I wish I could be there in person, but I’ll be sending all my love. Some of my favorite memories happened right here onstage at the Grand Ole Opry.”

The “Opry Goes Dolly” show will feature performances from Lainey Wilson, Vince Gill, and many more.
