Jelly Roll’s WWE Training Was No Joke
January 26, 2026 7:58 amFans saw Jelly Roll make his WWE debut last year, but the new season of “WWE: Unreal” shows how hard he had to work to get there.
To train full-time, Jelly temporarily moved to Orlando and rented two houses: one for his family, and another for his crew. He trained all day, then wrote and recorded music at night.
Jelly said he never gets nervous before concerts because the crowd already loves him, but wrestling was different. He was genuinely scared fans would not accept him.
He even asked WWE executive Triple H if he could lose the match, saying he wanted to earn respect from the fans and not take shortcuts.
And the training was no joke. Jelly let wrestlers throw him through 15 tables just to prepare.
Randy Orton sang Jelly Roll’s praises after his match.
