Megan Moroney recently shared a funny Valentine’s Day story that’s sure to make you cringe.

A couple of years ago, a boyfriend gave her a self-help book for Valentine’s Day.  That’s not great, but that’s not all.

He also included a note that said, “I know you’re not going to actually read this, so I’ve made SparkNotes for you.”

So, he gave her homework on how to improve herself… on Valentine’s Day.

There’s nothing wrong with self-improvement, but maybe don’t wrap it in a bow and hand it to your significant other on the most romantic day of the year?
