[LISTEN] A Guide To Be A Kind And Courteous Restaurant Guest π΄ During A Pandemic
February 17, 2021 7:16 amNow that weβre in the RED, Restaurants are flinging open their doors to happy customers, however the rumor around the service industry right now is that some customers have been asking Business owner to bends the rues to accommodate them.
Adriano Ciotoli from WINDSOR EATS came up with a pretty funny list of VERY obvious behaviors you should avoid when dining out in the red.
“We’re sad we have to post this…
With the announcement of Windsor-Essex moving to Level Red, it means that restaurants will be permitted up to 10 people at a time for dining within their establishments.
Most people are excited at the opportunity to support their favourite local restaurants. They’re calling with a smile in their voice to make reservations and being completely understanding of the situation the restaurants are in.
Others are not.
We’re already hearing of individuals berating and belittling restaurant staff and owners for not breaking the rules and putting their livelihood at risk for said individuals selfishness.
If you are acting like your entertainment and wants are more important than a restaurant owner and staff following the rules so they can remain open and provide for themselves and their families, than you are acting exactly like these images asks you not to.
The restaurants would love nothing more than to have a full house. However you feel about the rules, the restaurants breaking them face hefty fines and even closure.
Treat people kindly. Treat people with respect. Don’t be an ass.”
