On SUNDAY, two Olympic high jumpers battled to a TIE, and were headed for a jump-off. It was tied until they made a joint decision to call it off, and just SHARE the gold medal.

The athletes are Gianmarco Tamberry of Italy and Mutaz Essa Bar-shim of Qatar

They got the same results after trying to do it 3 times.

Even better, they’re actually friends in real life – and Gianmarco couldn’t jump in Rio in 2016 due to a injury.
