[LISTEN] What Would A WINDSOR DERBY 🏇 Sound Like In 2022?

With the Kentucky derby this weekend it reminded me of our our racing history in Windsor.
The Windsor Raceway opened October of 1965. The first day over 5 thousand people attended wagering almost $200, 000.
In 2015 it was torn down.

The Kentucky Derby means many different things to people. For some, it might be the only time of year they bet on a horse race. For others, it’s an excuse have a party and wear a big hat. For me it’s all about 3 things: Drinking bourbon, reminiscing about our race history, and laughing at horse names.
If a big race happen in 2022 here’s what I imagine  it would sound  like.
