A ‘shoe tree’ is a much-discussed and misunderstood symbol. With many scattered throughout the province no one can agree on what they really mean. Is it sinister, are they memorials?

There was an Island famous one when I lived in the Cayman Island’s. The shoes were all ripped off because thee shoes and nails were falling into the ocean and causing more pollution.

 

 

Haven’t you wondered about the SHOE TREE on Puce Road?
I found the person that put the first pair of shoes on the tree. But why? The reason may surprise you.
