Ron LaDouceur, Windsor’s Iconic FEATHER HAT GUY, Has Passed Away

Let me start by saying: Windsor’s most recognizable street person ‘Feather Hat Guy’ is not a sociology professor secretly conducting a decades-long experiment on eccentric street people.

RON LADOUCEUR was real person. Always seen wearing a fedora style hat with long feathers. He’s been a downtown wanderer for years.

Ron passed away at the age of 75 on Saturday.

In 2021 – our friends at BRANDDEAD created a ‘Feather Hat Guy’ action figure.

 

 

 

 

and there’s even a mural downtown of Ron done by graffiti artist DENIAL.
