We all know THAT house. The big white house on Ouellette where Jokers once stood. It doesn’t have the best reputation.

That abandoned building just got a make over.

Ward 3 Councilor Renaldo Agostino bought a whackload of paint and commissioned Daniel Bombardier, AKA DENIAL, and Detroit artist GHOSTBEARD to turn it into a giant canvas.

It’s opened up the conversation about the plight of the homeless and hurting Downtown and is the start of a festival organized by DENIAL which aims to paint a ton of walls in the city next month.

DANIEL joined me this morning to explain how the project came to be and the FREE FOR ALL WALLS festival.

His next big project will be a street art and mural festival, called Free for All Walls. It would bring over 50 artists, half from Windsor and half visiting from out of town, together to complete many murals within a 10-day span.

Oct 3- 10thΒ
