ZOOMSCLUSIVE: SHARON, LOIS & BRAM: SHARON And Her Daughter RANDI 🐘

THREE NAMES are synonymous with every Canadian and have been for several decades through their anthems Skinnamarink and Peanut, Butter, and Jelly,  as well as their long-running series The Elephant Show and Skinnamarink TV.  Sharon, Lois & Bram are still putting smiles on children’s faces — though a little differently than they used to.

After Lois Lillenstein passed away in 2015 and Bram Morrison retired from performing live, Sharon Hampson and her daughter Randi have continued the legacy. If you’re craving Sharon, Lois & Bram as a trio fear not — they have an insanely popular TikTok with wholesome content from Sharon and Bram woven throughout.

Sharon & Bram also recently released their first-ever country album, A Little Bit Country,  a collection of their recordings under one twangy umbrella. The result, a 26-song LP with songs like “She’ll Be Comin’ Round The Mountain” and “Home On The Range” and more.

An interview 40 year in the making (I grew up on SHARON LOIS AND BRAM), I spoke with Sharon and Randi about the resurgence of the iconic trio.

SHARON AND RANDY AND THE FAMILY BAND will be at Windsor’s Indigo at Devonshire Mall on Sunday, October 1, to read from their Globe and Mail bestseller of new book Sharon, Lois & Bram’s Peanut Butter & Jelly and sing a few songs.
