Megan Moroney Started Out As An Intern

Did you know Megan Moroney started as an INTERN in the country music industry?

Kristian Bush from Sugarland recently shared the story.  

He met Megan because she was a student intern at his studio in Atlanta.  She got accepted through a University of Georgia program, and at first didn’t even tell them she could sing or write.

Kristian laughed, remembering how they probably had her buried in spreadsheets.

Eventually, Megan asked if he and his brother, Brandon Bush, would produce one of her songs. At first, Kristian said, “I’m not producing the intern’s music.”  But once he heard it, that all changed.

Kristian has produced every Megan Moroney song since.  Now that’s a good intern!
