Alabama To Release New Song With Late Country Star Dan Seals
June 23, 2026 10:30 amAlabama announced they will release a collaboration track with the late singer Dan Seals on July 10th.
The song, titled “Still Reelin (From Those Rock & Roll Days),” features the iconic artist who died in 2009 from cancer at age 61.
Seals, brother of Jim Seals from soft-rock duo Seals & Croft, achieved major success in country music with chart-toppers including “Meet Me in Montana” with Marie Osmond, “Everything That Glitters (Is Not Gold),” and “Bop.”
Alabama, led by Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry, continues touring despite losing guitarist Jeff Cook in 2022.
Their last studio album was 2016’s “Forever Country.” The Fort Payne-founded group remains active with upcoming concerts through October.
