Fans Question Chris Young’s Condition During Festival Performance

Chris Young is facing renewed scrutiny after fans questioned his condition during his headline set at the Concert in the Corn festival in Mason, Wisconsin.

A TikTok clip captured the 41-year-old struggling during a performance of “I’m Comin’ Over,” with the caption noting he appeared off-tempo early in the song.

Young reportedly told the crowd, “If I forget the lyrics to my own song, just pretend that I pointed at you to sing.”

Comment sections were largely unsympathetic, with fans expressing genuine concern.

The incident is not isolated. Young faced similar accusations during a Tucson festival performance last year, also during the same song.

Some observers, however, suggest sound equipment issues may be to blame rather than the singer himself.
