Kane Brown Clarifies His “No Friends” Comment

Kane Brown is setting the record straight after saying on a podcast in June that he felt “alone in the music world,” suggesting he had more friends among athletes than fellow Nashville artists.

This week, Brown said the remarks “came off weird” and that he does in fact have friends in the industry, including Lauren Alaina, Jason Aldean, Chris Young, and Mitchell Tenpenny.

He simply craves a deeper, more casual bond.

“I just meant like somebody that we just — like I feel like Morgan and Hardy, they’re real close. I just want that because in the industry, we’re the only ones that can really relate to each other.”
