Stella Lefty has made country music history with her debut single “Boston,” reaching No. 1 on the Mediabase & Country Aircheck chart faster than any debut female artist in 20 years.

The single hit the top spot in just 22 weeks, beating Carrie Underwood’s “Jesus, Take the Wheel,” which took 24 weeks in 2006.

“It’s impossible for me to process that, because I grew up with Carrie Underwood. So to be in the conversation with her is a dream come true.”

The all-time fastest debut record on that chart still belongs to Gretchen Wilson, whose “Redneck Woman” reached No. 1 in just 12 weeks.
